Thank You to NDEP Partners!

In observance of National Volunteer Week (April 21–27), NDEP would like to thank partners for joining us – over the past 15 years – in our mission to Change the Way Diabetes is Treated. Visit NDEP’s Partner Spotlight webpage to learn about some of the great work partners have done, and be sure to submit your own activities to be highlighted in our Partner Spotlight!

NDEP Has Resources for a Healthy Spring

Visit NDEP’s April promotions calendar for resources you can use to help people who are working to prevent type 2 diabetes or manage the disease be more active and choose healthier foods.

April is National Minority Health Month

This National Minority Health Month, search NDEP’s publications and resources by race/ethnicity and language to find diabetes management and prevention tools that you can use to reach populations disproportionately affected by diabetes.

April is Also Foot Health Awareness Month and National Workplace Wellness Week

In observance of Foot Health Awareness Month, share NDEP’s newly revised Take Care of Your Feet for a Lifetime brochure for tips to help people take care of their feet and prevent serious foot problems. Celebrate National Workplace Wellness Week (April 1–7) by improving the health of employees with and at risk for type 2 diabetes with tools from NDEP’s resource.

Partners Shine in NDEP’s Partner Spotlight

NDEP’s April Partner Spotlight is on the Minnesota Diabetes and Heart Health Collaborative. Learn how this partner used NDEP resources to promote diabetes management and the link between diabetes and heart health.
