Turn Your Twitter Page Blue for World Diabetes Day

In recognition of the global burden of diabetes, NDEP is supporting World Diabetes Day, which is Sunday, November 14, by turning its website and Twitter page blue November 12-19. You can join us and show your support by turning your Twitter page blue, too, and letting others know why you’ve done this by sharing the following message on Twitter:

How to turn your Twitter page blue:
- Log in to your Twitter account
- Click on the “Settings” button at the top right of the page, then click on the “Design” tab
- Scroll down past Twitter’s themes, click the “Change background image” box, and then select “Don’t use a background image”
- Click on the “Change design colors” box
- Click on the “background” color box and type “1199de” into the text box
- Click done and then save changes
- Return to your Twitter page by clicking on the Twitter logo at the top left-hand side of the screen
- Share the message above with your followers to help NDEP raise awareness of diabetes.
